Óscar Morchón started his artistic career at six years old in the Superior Conservatoire of Music of A Coruña, where he graduated in Piano and Composition.
After moving to Barcelona, he trained as an actor mainly in the Nancy Tuñón School of Speech and Drama and Meisner Technique with Javier Galitó-Cava, started his singing lessons and got his Bachelor of Architecture (UPC University). He combined his studies with artistic jobs such as pianist and solo singer in the 7Notes pianobar, and as an actor in several plays and shortfilms of the ESCAC. He was co-founder of the Arsperversus company, in which he produced and performed The shape of things of Neil LaBute.
After arriving in Madrid he worked on various theatrer plays, short films and web series, and expanded his training at the Centro del Actor, Assumpta Serna School, etc. Later, he trained with masters such as Fernando Piernas, Tamzin Towsend and Susan Batson in NY. He also took tap and jazz dance lessons, horseback riding lessons and continued his vocal training with the coach José Masegosa.
His first main character in television comes with the daily series O Faro for all regional spanish televisions.
His most recent theater work includes roles as an actor, pianist and singer in the musical Lo Tuyo y lo Mío (Pequeño Teatro Gran Vía, Nuevo Alcalá, Príncipe Gran Vía and tour), Todos (Teatro Lara) and Las Mujeres Sabias by Molière.
After his work in O Faro, in television has worked in series such as Tiempos de Guerra (Antena 3 y Netflix) directed por David Pinillos, Centro Médico (TVE), A Estiba (TVG) directed by Miguel Conde, La Línea Invisible (Movistar+) , a series about the beginnings of the terrorist band ETA directed by Mariano Barroso y The Mallorca Files directed by Christiana Ebohon-Green, a british production that is broadcast in the BBC One..
More recently he has worked in the series Rapa (Movistar+) directed by Jorge Coira, Operación Marea Negra (Amazon Prime) directed by Daniel Calparsoro and 4 Estrellas (TVE) directed by Jacobo Martos. His latest work has been for the film Jacob y Esau, directed by Bruce Gardner.
